Wow! I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since I have posted in here! I have a new blog with Annika and Karen where we are trying to lose some weight and using each other as motivation. We'll see how it works! I have been going to Siren Fitness, it is a "spa-inspired fitness boutique for women" and I love it. My friend Susan from the Terrace is a teacher there, and her classes (along with everyone else's) are just great. I do Zumba, Yoga Fusion, Strength Fusion, 20/20/20 and have yet to try Kickboxing and Turbokick. One of these days I will! I am really interested in the kickboxing class, it just hasn't worked into my schedule yet. I have also been pretty busy applying to grad schools for next fall. I have applied so far to: University of Connecticut, University of Vermont, Grand Valley State University, University of Utah, Western Washington University...and I need to finish my applications for Northern Arizona University and Eastern Michigan University this week. I also started volunteering at WORT-the community radio station in Madison. I have only made it to one night of promos so far (we record promos for the radio to air) but I will be answering phones for the pledge drive this Sunday. I also have the SAI Alumni/Active Brunch this Saturday, that should be fun. It will be my first time attending as an alumni rather than an active. I will have officially been with Pike for a year on the 25th (though I started temping in Nov. I didn't get hired on until February). It's amazing how fast time flies. Josie is 3 now and such a little smarty pants!
I filed my tax returns today. I'm getting some money back from Wisconsin, but have to pay Federal. That's the risk of having multiple jobs that don't take out enough taxes. I suppose I should change my withholding for next year! Well, back to work. Later!
